On June 30, the members of the Joint Control Commission (JCC) had a working meeting in Bender.

The issue of the posts of the Transnistrian structures, installed abusively and without the coordination of the Commission, was the central topic addressed by the Chisinau delegation. Their presence in the Security Zone was reflected in three weekly reports presented at the meeting by the Joint Military Command.

The Delegation of the Republic of Moldova stated that the illegal posts and the armed representatives of the force structures subordinated to Tiraspol should not be in the perimeter of responsibility of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces and demanded their withdrawal.

The Delegation of the Republic of Moldova declared that the unilateral actions of the Transnistrian exponents, as well as their attempts to distort the facts and reinterpret the documents of the pacification operation on the Nistru River, cause blockages in the activity of JCC, Joint Military Command and contravene the July 21, 1992 Agreement.

In the statement of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova, disseminated to the participants in the activity of the JCC, they were asked to formulate a fair appreciation of the provocative actions of Tiraspol, and the delegation of the Transnistrian region was called to return to being constructive, cease confrontational approaches and the provoking of dissensions within the Joint Control Commission and the Joint Military Command.

No decisions were taken during the meeting on the topics examined, and discussions will resume on 7 July 2022.
