At the working meeting of the Joint Control Commission, held in Bender on June 23, 2022, the Joint Military Command presented two weekly reports on the situation in the Security Zone, in which the presence of posts installed without Commission coordination was documented.

The delegation of the Republic of Moldova further pleaded for the elimination of illegal posts from the Security Zone, as well as of the armed soldiers of the Tiraspol force structures.

In its address to the other members of the Joint Control Commission, the representatives of Chisinau highlighted the destructive position of Tiraspol which does not give up attempts to reduce the role of the Commission and the Joint Peacekeeping Forces in controlling the situation in the Security Zone.

The Delegation of the Republic of Moldova drew attention to the fact that Tiraspol brings additional forces to the Security Zone and disregards the existing peacekeeping mechanisms on the Dniester River.

The delegates of Chisinau categorized the actions to ignore the provisions of the 1992 Agreement as provocative and inadmissible, calling on the entire Commission to contribute to the adoption of measures to end them.
