The Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration with the Members of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Denmark

On February 23, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Valeriu Chiveri, held a meeting with the delegation of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Denmark (Folketing), led by its Chair, Christian Friis Bach.

The discussions addressed topics related to the country's reintegration efforts, advancing the European integration process, and strengthening the Republic of Moldova's resilience in the face of external challenges.

At the same time, the interlocutors referred to the situation of the inhabitants of the Transnistrian region and the measures promoted by the authorities to support them. Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri emphasized that the economic and social reintegration of the inhabitants of the Transnistrian region has registered significant progress and constitutes an important catalyst for the process of rapprochement of the two banks of the Nistru River.

For his part, the Danish official reaffirmed Denmark’s firm support for the European path of the Republic of Moldova, expressing appreciation for the progress achieved and the authorities’ efforts in implementing reforms.
