ANNOUNCEMENT regarding the launch of the call for collecting project proposals to be financed through the Programme of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country for the year 2026

According to Article 3 letter a) of the State Budget Law for 2026, No. 322 of 29 December 2025 (Official Monitor of the Republic of Moldova, Nos. 659–661, Art. 800 of 31.12.2025), budgetary resources amounting to MDL 25 million were allocated for activities related to the reintegration of the country. The distribution of these allocations will take place through the Programme of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country, following the completion of the competitive stage and the selection of eligible projects.

Thus, for the purpose of identifying beneficiaries and distributing the above-mentioned allocations, in accordance with the requirements of Government Decision No. 131/2014, a call for the collection of project proposals to be evaluated, selected, and approved for financing under the Programme of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country for 2026 is hereby announced for the period 12 January – 27 February 2026.

Projects to be implemented in localities within the perimeter of the Security Zone and which contribute to the achievement of the objective of reintegrating the country, the resolution of strategic issues with major community or regional impact, as well as projects aimed at improving essential public services, will be considered eligible for financing.

 In order to request financing for project proposals from the allocations for activities related to the reintegration of the country for 2026, the initiating public authority must complete the application form (click here), attach the relevant set of documents in accordance with the provisions of point 7 of Government Decision No. 131/2014, and submit the original file to the State Chancellery for verification of compliance with the established eligibility criteria, followed by the evaluation of the project by the Selection Commission, whose nominal composition will be approved by Government order.

The list of project proposals accepted by the Commission, as well as the allocation of funds by beneficiaries, will be approved by Government decision, after the completion of the procedures stipulated in Government Decision No. 131/2014.

In 2026, government priorities will include projects aimed at promoting assistance measures for residents of the Transnistrian region exposed to human rights violations; the modernization and development of public services provided to the population on both banks of the Nistru River; strengthening resilience and energy efficiency; supporting educational institutions with instruction in the Romanian language and farmers from the Dubăsari district; support measures for the activity of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova within the Joint Control Commission and for public authorities and their territorial subdivisions in the Security Zone; projects in the fields of culture, healthcare, and education; as well as other strategic activities for the reintegration of the country.
