Appeal of the Delegation of the Republic of Moldova to the Joint Control Commission

Given the unilateral actions of the Tiraspol exponents, who, under the pretext of managing the emergency regime, illegally fortified the infrastructure of the "control posts" within the Security Zone, the Delegation of the Republic of Moldova to the Joint Control Commission (JCC) formulated an appeal calling for the Transnistrian party to apply immediate measures to unblock the activity of the military observers and to unconditionally remove the unauthorized and abusively installed barriers, informing in limited terms the JCCDelegation leaders and the representatives of Ukraine and OSCE.

The Moldovan delegation also addressed all JCC participants, requesting that all possible efforts be made in order to liquidate the recorded violations, their non-admission in the future, and to establish effective mechanisms for the Joint Peacekeeping Forces to work effectively and under strict compliance with the framework documents provisions of the peacekeeping mission on Nistru river.
