Assistance projects promoted on both banks of the Nistru were discussed at the meeting with the Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in the Republic of Moldova

On January 14, 2026, the Head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, Alin Gvidiani, held a working meeting with the Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in the Republic of Moldova, Guido Beltrani.

The assistance programs and projects financed by Switzerland, implemented and planned for promotion on both banks of the Nistru, were addressed, including those relating to the development of an innovative and competitive business environment, the modernization of the health care sector, the provision of humanitarian assistance to those in need, the social reintegration of various groups of citizens, energy efficiency and diversification, etc.

The Head of the Bureau welcomed the active involvement of Swiss donors in the implementation of projects that connect social actors and entrepreneurs on both banks of the Nistru, thanked them for the efforts made in this regard, and also reiterated that it is necessary for such activities and projects to contribute to supporting the Transnistrian settlement process and to removing obstacles that unnecessarily complicate the lives of citizens.
