The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration had a meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania
On November 19, 2025, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Valeriu Chiveri, held a meeting with the State Secretary for Strategic Affairs within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Ana Tinca, who is on a visit to the Republic of Moldova.
During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, expanding joint strategic projects in the context of the Republic of Moldova’s progress on its European path, and reaffirming the privileged relationship between the Republic of Moldova and Romania, based on strategic partnership, constant support, and shared values.
An important element of the dialogue was cooperation in support of the country’s reintegration policies. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the significance of efforts carried out jointly with external partners, particularly with Romania, aimed at promoting measures to strengthen trust between both banks of the Nistru River, developing social and economic projects in settlements within the Security Zone, as well as consolidating the necessary mechanisms in the process of the country’s reintegration.
The State Secretary reiterated Romania’s commitment to supporting the Republic of Moldova by expanding joint projects and backing the government’s goal of reintegration, emphasizing that cooperation in this area remains a constant priority in Romanian–Moldovan relations.
