Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca on a working visit to Anenii Noi District

In the context of strengthening dialogue with local public administration authorities and directly monitoring the socio-economic situation in the localities within the perimeter of the Security Zone, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca conducted a working visit to the Anenii Noi district on August 12, 2025. The agenda included visits to the localities of Varnița, Gura Bâcului, and Hîrbovăț.

In Varnița, the Deputy Prime Minister convened a working meeting with representatives of local public authorities and deconcentrated institutions in the territory. Discussions focused on the functioning of law enforcement institutions based in the municipality of Bender, the protection of citizens’ rights, and ensuring equitable access to public services.

It was emphasized that there is a steady increase in the number of inhabitants from localities situated on the left bank of the Nistru River and from the municipality of Bender who turn to national authorities for various public services, with particular interest in obtaining and updating civil status documents. In this regard, discussions addressed the need to strengthen the institutional and logistical capacity of the territorial subdivisions providing such services in order to adequately meet the growing demand from the population.

“Cooperation between state institutions is vital to ensuring a coherent and effective response to citizens’ needs. It is essential that we act in a coordinated manner to guarantee equal access to public services, protect fundamental rights, and strengthen public confidence in constitutional authorities. The growing number of inhabitants from the left bank of the Nistru River who approach institutions on the right bank for civil status documents, medical assistance, or other services reflects not only an objective need but also a clear choice in favor of professionalism, legality, and quality. In this context, interinstitutional cooperation is not only an administrative necessity but also a guarantee of the functioning of the rule of law,” stated Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca.

In the locality of Gura Bâcului, the Deputy Prime Minister was briefed on the progress of rural development projects and on the stage of implementation of initiatives supported by European funds, projects that contribute to strengthening social and economic cohesion at the local level.

In Hîrbovăț, the Deputy Prime Minister exchanged views with local authorities and residents, demonstrating openness to the community’s concerns and reaffirming the Government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that address the population’s needs.
