On 7 August 2026, Alin Gvidiani, Head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, met with Chingiz Raimbekov, Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mission in the Republic of Moldova, on the occasion of the completion of his mandate in our country.

During the meeting, the main areas of activity of the ICRC Mission were discussed, and the need to further orient the measures undertaken by the Mission towards supporting the country’s reintegration process, with a focus on implementing humanitarian initiatives in the interests of residents throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova, was highlighted.

Furthermore, during the meeting, the new Head of the ICRC Mission, François Blanc, was introduced, who will assume his mandate in the second half of August. Alin Gvidiani, Head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, congratulated the new Head of Mission on his appointment and wished him every success, expressing openness to maintaining a constructive dialogue
