Meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Roman Roșca with the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Republic of Moldova, Dominique Waag

On October 9, 2025, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Roman Roșca, had a meeting with H.E. Dominique Waag, Ambassador of France to Chișinău.

The discussions addressed the current situation in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova, as well as aspects regarding the promotion of effective policies for the country's reintegration.

France's firm support for the peaceful resolution of the Transnistrian conflict was reiterated, respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, within its internationally recognized borders.

At the same time, the officials highlighted the fact that the European integration process generates concrete benefits and clear perspectives for the entire population of the country, significantly contributing to strengthening social cohesion, modernizing public institutions and increasing citizens' confidence in the state's ability to ensure a stable, prosperous and sustainable future.
