Meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Roman Roșca with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme in the Republic of Moldova, Daniela Gasparikova
On August 18, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca had a meeting with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in our country, Daniela Gasparikova.
The discussions focused on projects carried out with UNDP support aimed at advancing the reintegration process of the Republic of Moldova, bringing added value to sustainable development processes and strengthening the resilience of communities on both banks of the Nistru River.
Deputy Prime Minister Roman Roșca expressed appreciation for UNDP’s significant contribution to promoting confidence-building measures, including through projects in the environmental, social, energy efficiency and human rights fields, which help support sectoral reintegration policies and eliminate disparities between the two banks of the Nistru River.
Daniela Gasparikova reconfirmed the organization’s commitment to continue implementing ongoing projects, to further develop them, and to support new initiatives aimed at improving people’s living conditions, addressing the most pressing socio-economic challenges, and strengthening social cohesion throughout the country.
The importance of maintaining constant coordination with the Bureau for Reintegration Policies on activities and projects concerning the Security Zone perimeter and the eastern districts of the country was reiterated.
