Message of the Bureau on the 33rd Anniversary of the Introduction of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces

The Head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, Alin Gvidiani, together with the Minister of Defense, the Chief of the General Staff of the National Army, the Head of the Moldovan Delegation to the Joint Control Commission and its members/experts, the Senior Military Commander of the Moldovan Peacekeeping Contingent, the Vice-President of Dubăsari District, and the Mayor of Cocieri village, participated in a ceremony dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the launch of the peacekeeping operation in the Security Zone of the Republic of Moldova.
The event was organized at the 1st Independent Infantry Battalion of the Peacekeeping Forces, located in Cocieri commune, Dubăsari district.
The Head of the Bureau conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the national peacekeepers and colleagues from the responsible territorial subdivisions for maintaining peace, stability, and security within the perimeter of the Security Zone, for their dedication to the Republic of Moldova, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, and for their selflessness and professionalism in the wise and prudent management of various situations and incidents that have arisen in this sensitive area of activity.
During the festive ceremony, some peacekeepers and police officers were awarded decorations and honorary diplomas for their exemplary service and outstanding professional performance.
