2 492 economic operators from the Transnistrian region were registered with the Public Services Agency

As of the end of the first half of 2026, the State Register of legal entities included a total of 2 492 economic operators from the left bank of the Nistru River and municipality of Bender. Of those, 461 were permanently registered, while 2 031 were temporarily registered with the Public Services Agency. 

Between 1 January and 30 June 2026, nine economic operators located in the Transnistrian region were permanently registered. During the same period, a further 17 economic operators were temporarily registered in accordance with the provisions of Government Decision № 815/2005.

Compared to 31 December 2025, the total number of economic operators registered with the Public Services Agency increased by 14 – from 2 478 to 2 492. Such dynamics confirm the consistent progress of the country’s economic reintegration process and the pragmatic approach of the business environment in the Transnistrian region.

For economic operators in the region, conducting commercial activities within the national legal framework, accessing services provided by the competent national authorities, and integrating into the Republic of Moldova’s trade system constitute important factors for stability, predictability, and sustainable development. At the same time, access to the European Union market plays a key role in expanding economic activity, attracting investment, and ensuring the continued development of enterprises in the region.
