Aspects of the Transnistrian file presented at a meeting with the delegation of the European Union Affairs Committee of the Riigikogu

On November 26, 2024, the Head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, Alin Gvidiani, met with the delegation of the European Union Affairs Committee of the Parliament (Riigikogu) of the Republic of Estonia, headed by its Chairman, MP Peeter Tali.

The Head of the Bureau presented the main governmental priorities in the field of reintegration policies, highlighting the determination of the Chișinău executive to solve the Transnistrian conflict only through peaceful methods and dialogue, while advancing on the European integration path of the Republic of Moldova.

In addition, current sensitive issues of this dossier were touched upon, including the opportunities for residents living in the Transnistrian region in the context of their pragmatic perception of the benefits provided by the policy of reunification of unique national spaces and the prospects offered by the European Union.

Gratitude was expressed to the Estonian delegation for the constant and firm support provided to the Republic of Moldova, including on international platforms.
