ATTENTION! Activity of the vehicle registration points from Tiraspol and Ribnita will be temporarily suspended (during the state of emergency declaration)

Due to the state of emergency declaration at the national level (see Parliament Decision no.55/2020), as well as under Provision no.1/2020 of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CES) of the Republic of Moldova (RM), the activity of the vehicle registration points from Tiraspol and Ribnita is suspended for the period up to 15 May 2020.

These measures are dictated by necessity to respect the established quarantine regime and to avoid contact with potential persons in the risk groups or possibly infected with COVID-19.

The decision regarding optimal term of resuming the activity of these registration points will be taken depending on the evolution of epidemiological situation throughout the country and according to provisions of the CES of RM.

We ask citizens to get information about developments and decisions approved in this regard and to comply with the rules established by the competent national authorities.

We remind that the mechanism of vehicles registration with neutral plates was agreed by the Protocol Decision "Regarding participation in international road traffic of means of transport from Transnistrian region, not engaged in commercial activity" of 24April 2018, applied in accordance with provisions of Law no.170/2018, the Government Decision no.847/2018 and other normative and departmental acts for implementation of this mechanism, while documentation at the mentioned territorial subdivisions is ensured from September 2018, being established on basis of the applicant’s benevolent principle.
