The deputy head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies in dialogue with the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Republic of Moldova

On Friday, September 15, 2023, the deputy head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, Eugen Cara had a meeting with the head of operations of the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in the Republic of Moldova, Mrs. Katy Attfield.

The discussions concerned the assistance projects implemented by the ICRC in our country, especially in the humanitarian field, as well as the priority agenda for the next period. The representatives of the Bureau expressed gratitude for the support offered to Ukrainian refugees residing on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

The interlocutors highlighted the necessity to strengthen the resilience of the institutions responsible for healthcare and providing quality social services to the population from both banks of the Nistru River.

The deputy head of the Bureau expressed gratitude for the technical and humanitarian assistance offered by the ICRC to the Republic of Moldova, reiterating the necessity to notify and coordinate the visits and activities of international officials in the transnistrian region with the Bureau for Reintegration Policies.
