Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian delivered the public lecture „Three years since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine” as part of the FRIȘPA Student Days 2025

On February 25, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian held a public lecture on the topic „Three years since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine”. The event took place on the sidelines of the Faculty of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences (FRIȘPA) Student Days 2025, event reached the VIII edition and dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the foundation of this faculty at the State University of Moldova.

During his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister provided a broad analysis of the impact of the war in Ukraine on the region, international security and the Republic of Moldova. The official highlighted the current geopolitical challenges, the measures taken by the Moldovan authorities to maintain stability and national security, as well as the importance of international support for Ukraine.

Another essential topic addressed was the Transnistrian settlement process. The Deputy Prime Minister underlined the authorities' firm commitment to finding a peaceful, sustainable solution that is consistent with the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova. He also explained how the war in Ukraine influences this process, as well as the measures adopted by Chișinău to ensure stability in the region and the protection of citizens.
