On March 27, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian received the courtesy visit of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Paun Rohovei

The topics of discussion included the current state of the negotiation process for the Transnistrian settlement, Chișinău's views on the ways to resolve existing problems, as well as the measures taken by the national authorities in this direction.

Ambassador Paun Rohovei reiterated Ukraine's firm support for the comprehensive, peaceful and sustainable settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova without affecting its pro-European future.

The two officials also reviewed the status and prospects of the Moldovan-Ukrainian dialogue, expressing satisfaction with the positive evolution of bilateral cooperation. Special attention was paid to economic cooperation and opportunities to capitalize on the existing potential along the lines of the Moldovan-Ukrainian Joint Intergovernmental Commission in the field of economic and trade collaboration.
