Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian Held a Farewell Meeting with the European Union Special Representative for the Transnistrian Settlement Process

On July 3, 2025, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Oleg Serebrian, held a farewell meeting with Ms. Dorota Dlouchy-Suliga, the European Union Special Representative in the negotiation process on the Transnistrian settlement, on the occasion of the conclusion of her mandate.

During the discussions, the officials exchanged views on recent developments in the Transnistrian file, with a focus on the dynamics of the settlement process and the existing challenges in this regard.

They also addressed the impact of the energy and economic crises felt in the Transnistrian region, as well as the increasingly acute difficulties faced by citizens living in the localities on the left bank of the Nistru River. Deputy Prime Minister Serebrian reiterated Chișinău’s commitment to identifying sustainable and fair solutions with the support of international partners and for the benefit of residents on both banks of the river.
