Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian held a working meeting with the official delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany

On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian received an official German delegation, led by Dr. Mark Speich, State Secretary for Federal, European and International Affairs of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia.

During the discussion, the current state of the Transnistrian settlement process and the efforts undertaken to fully reintegrate the Transnistrian region into the constitutional framework of the Republic of Moldova were reported.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration emphasized the continued commitment to maintain a constructive dialogue in the existing negotiation formats, as well as Chișinău's firm determination to prevent the escalation of tensions and resolve the Transnistrian conflict exclusively peacefully.

The Deputy Prime Minister positively appreciated the constant support provided by the Federal Republic of Germany, noting that this contributes to significant advancement of the Transnistrian settlement process.

The meeting was also attended by H.E. Margret Webber, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Moldova.
