Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian had a meeting with the Minister of State in the Federal Office of Germany, Tobias Lindner

During the working meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian and the Minister of State in the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, Tobias Lindner, accompanied by E.S. Margret Uebber, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Moldova, the current situation on Transnistrian issues was reviewed, as well as the Government priorities in the field of reintegration of the country.

The increasingly important role of the European Union in the Transnistrian settlement process was highlighted, in the context of Moldova’s assuming of the strategic objective of European integration, which will also boost the national goal of full reintegration of the Republic of Moldova.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration also expressed gratitude for the multidimensional support provided to the Republic of Moldova by the Federal Republic of Germany, including technical expertise and assistance funds meant to bring closer the inhabitants of the two banks of the Nistru River.
