Dialogue of experts in the energy sphere on both sides of the Dniester

On March 18, 2025, a working meeting of experts in the field of energy from both banks of the Nistru River was held in the office of the OSCE Mission in the Republic of Moldova in Tiraspol.

The meeting addressed issues related to the implementation of the provisions of the national regulatory framework on natural gas, ensuring the security of natural gas supply to citizens and economic agents, and the preventive and emergency measures necessary to manage crisis situations in the energy sector.

Representatives of the Chișinău delegation informed the Tiraspol representatives about the proposals to amend the national legislation in the field of natural gas in the context of its alignment with the legislation of the European Union.

The experts agreed to continue maintaining a constructive dialogue.
