Discussions with a group of security advisers from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

On 18 February 2025, the Head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, Alin Gvidiani, held a working meeting with a group of advisors from the Security and Stabilization Department of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Discussions focused on the current situation in the transnistrian settlement process, the challenges and prospects, the measures taken by the Moldovan authorities to address the most pressing issues and to strengthen the country's reintegration policies, reiterating the importance of improving coordination processes and promoting single, coherent and well-calculated approaches.
The importance of strengthening cooperation with international partners, both in terms of promoting sectoral development projects (economic, social, etc.) and in terms of supporting a final and peaceful settlement of the transnistrian conflict, while respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, was also mentioned.
The maintenance of security and sustainable development, as well as the protection of human rights throughout the country were highlighted as priority lines of action.
