Event dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, together with the head of the Delegation of the Republic of Moldova to the Joint Control Commission and its members/experts, representatives of the General Staff of the National Army, the military contingent of the Peacekeeping Forces of the Republic of Moldova and the local public administration of the Dubăsari district, participated in the ceremony dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the launch of the peacekeeping operation in the Security Zone of the Republic of Moldova.

The event was organized at the headquarter of the 3rd Independent Infantry Battalion of the Peacekeeping Forces in Coșnița, Dubăsari district.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian highly appreciated the contribution of the Moldovan military in maintaining the peace and security of the country and expressed his gratitude for the dedication demonstrated daily in protecting the constitutional values, sovereign and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.

During the festive ceremony, the peacekeepers were decorated with awards, military ranks and Certificates of Honor for impeccable service and outstanding results in their professional activities.
