The expertise offered by the European Union Border Assistance Mission in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine was the subject of discussions with the head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, Alin Gvidiani

In continuation of the constant dialogue, on October 11, a new meeting was held between the head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies Alin Gvidiani and Mrs. Agnieszka Wawrzyk, ad-interim coordinator, team leader and advisor on technical aspects related to the Transnistrian theme of the European Union Mission of Border Assistance in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM).

 

Potential ways of assistance and expertise available from EUBAM were discussed in the context of supporting the promotion of sectoral policies for the reintegration of the country and the restoration of single national spaces between both banks of the Nistru River (customs, fiscal, economic, etc.).

 

The head of the Bureau reiterated the need for permanent coordination of activities of mutual interest and the strategic role of the European Union in stimulating the implementation processes of unique and efficient standards aimed at eliminating artificial barriers and improving the lives of citizens throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
