Farewell meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, H.E. Ms. Katarina Fried

On June 10, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Moldova, Her Excellency Katarina Frid, on the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic mission in Chișinău.

During the discussion, Deputy Prime Minister Serebrian expressed gratitude to Sweden on behalf of the Moldovan authorities for its continuous support in the process of reintegration of the country, as well as for the numerous projects to strengthen confidence between both banks of the Nistru River, financed by the Government of Stockholm. The Deputy Prime Minister noted the open and effective cooperation with the Embassy of Sweden during his mandate, emphasizing the active role of Swedish diplomacy in supporting the process of European integration of our country.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked H. E. Katarina Frid for her professional commitment and valuable contribution to strengthening bilateral Moldovan-Swedish relations, wishing her great success in her future diplomatic endeavors.

„The Republic of Moldova will have in me a heartfelt ambassador wherever I am,” the Swedish diplomat said in turn.
