Farewell meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with the ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Steven Fisher

The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian received today, October 23, 2023, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Steven Fisher on a farewell visit.

During the meeting, the officials reviewed the current state of interaction between Chișinău and Tiraspol, as well as the current regional situation and the efforts made by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova to maintain stability and security in the region.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed once again his gratitude for the constant support offered by the British government to the Chișinău authorities in order to achieve the goal of peaceful reintegration of the country.

The Moldovan official also highly appreciated the collaboration with Ambassador Steven Fisher during his mandate in Chișinău and the interest he showed in the Transnistrian file, as well as his contribution to the expansion and deepening of Moldovan-British relations, wishing him much success in his future work.
