Farewell Meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with German Ambassador H.E. Margret Uebber

On June 9, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Margret Uebber, who is concluding her diplomatic mandate in Chișinău.

The discussion took place in a cordial atmosphere, reflecting the close relations of cooperation and friendship between the Republic of Moldova and Germany. Deputy Prime Minister Serebrian expressed sincere gratitude for the essential support provided by Germany in the process of identifying a peaceful and sustainable solution to the Transnistrian conflict, emphasizing Berlin's active and constructive role in the reintegration efforts of the Republic of Moldova.

At the same time, the Moldovan official expressed his gratitude for the consistent contributions of Germany and the European Union in supporting the Republic of Moldova economically, especially under recent challenges. The support provided to avoid an energy and social crisis in the Transnistrian region, as well as to strengthen the state's resilience in the face of difficulties generated by the current geopolitical context, was particularly appreciated.

Deputy Prime Minister Serebrian thanked H.E. Margret Uebber for her commitment during her mandate in the Republic of Moldova and wished her success in her future endeavors.
