Farewell meeting with the Head of the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross to the Republic of Moldova, Doris El Doueihy

On November 25, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian had a farewell meeting with the Head of the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to the Republic of Moldova, Doris El Doueihy on the occasion of the completion of her mandate at the end of this year.

The activities carried out by the ICRC in our country were reviewed, reiterating the need to frame the measures promoted in the strategic desideratum of reintegration of the country and to implement humanitarian projects for the benefit of the residents of both banks of the Nistru River.

In addition, during the meeting, the new Head of the ICRC Delegation in Chișinău, Walter Jeanty was introduced. He will take over the mandate at the beginning of next year. Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian congratulated the new Head of the Delegation and wished him success in fulfilling his mandate.
