The Government allocated an additional 2.6 million lei to compensate the expenses incurred by farmers in Dubăsari district

On December 18, 2024, the members of the Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft amendment to paragraph 2 of Government Decision No 341/2024 on the approval of the Programme of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country for 2024.

This project provides for the additional allocation of financial means amounting to 2.6 million lei to compensate the expenses incurred by the owners of agricultural land, located after the Rîbniţa-Tiraspol route as a result of the introduction by Tiraspol of illegal payments during the transportation of crops or seed through unauthorized checkpoints in the Security Zone.

The distribution of the allocated funds will be carried out by the end of the current budget year by the Dubăsari District Council based on Regulation No. 3/4 of August 20, 2024, approved by the Council.

Thus, the amount of compensation provided to farmers within the framework of the Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country for 2024 will amount to 4.6 million lei.
