Head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies Alin Gvidiani in dialogue with H. E. John E. Herbst, Senior Director of Eurasia Center of the Atlantic Council

The current situation in the Transnistrian settlement process and the promotion of effective policies for the reintegration of the country became the subject of discussion during a working meeting between the Head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies Alin Gvidiani and the Senior Director of the Eurasia Center of the Atlantic Council, H.E. John E. Herbst.

It was emphasized that the implementation of democratic values ​​in the Transnistrian region and ensuring compliance with the international standards in the field of human rights will significantly contribute to new progress in achieving the goal of reintegration of the country and implementation of the international commitments assumed by the Republic of Moldova.

In addition, it was mentioned that the benefits of European integration and the opportunities offered to the Republic of Moldova through various external assistance programs stimulate progress in elimination of artificial barriers between the two banks of the Nistru River.
