The Head of the of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies Alin Gvidiani presented the current situation on the Transnistrian issue to a group of students of the Freie Universität Berlin

The current situation on the Transnistrian file, the development of policies in the field of reintegration of the country, as well as the positive actions of the Moldovan authorities towards residents of the eastern regions of the country were the subject of discussion at a meeting of the Head of the Bureau of Reintegration Policies Alin Gvidiani with a group of students from the Institute of Eastern European Studies at Freie Universität Berlin (FRG).
The Head of the Bureau mentioned that the advantages and opportunities for the Republic of Moldova provided by international assistance projects, the European integration process and the regulatory framework are fully used by residents and economic agents from the eastern districts of the country, who maintain direct interaction with competent state authorities, are massively documented with national model acts and are socially and economically reintegrated into a unique national space.
It was also emphasized that the constitutional authorities are making every possible effort to fulfill positive obligations towards their citizens in the region, ensuring respect for their fundamental rights and freedoms and the full implementation in this perimeter of the approved state policies and the international commitments undertaken by the Republic of Moldova.
