Increase in the number of pupils in eight Romanian-language educational institutions in the Transnistrian region

The situation in eight Romanian-language educational institutions in the Transnistrian region is under constant control of the Ministry of Education and Research, as well as the Bureau for Reintegration Policies. Ensuring a safe and attractive environment for both pupils and teachers during the educational process is an absolute priority.
Duet to the ongoing efforts of the constitutional authorities and the administration of educational institutions aimed at improving the working conditions of teachers and pupils, the number of pupils in these eight institutions has continued to grow this year.
1,936 pupils in the 2024-2025 school year
1,813 pupils in the 2023-2024 school year
1,677 pupils in the 2022-2023 school year
1,650 pupils in the 2021-2022 school year
1,573 pupils in the 2020-2021 school year
Along with the above indicators, additional measures should be taken to ensure the implementation of current educational standards throughout the entire perimeter temporarily not under the control of constitutional authorities through the uniformization of educational programs, equipping schools with their own premises that meet modern requirements, as well as the dissemination of these processes in other educational institutions in the region.
