The issue of removing illegal posts from the Security Zone was discussed at a meeting of the Joint Control Commission

On February 13, 2025, a working meeting of the Joint Control Commission was held in Bender, the agenda of which included a number of organizational issues.

Subsequently, the problem of abusively installed posts in the Security Zone by the forces subordinated to Tiraspol was re-addressed. The representatives of the Transnistrian region communicated about the reduction of their number.

The information will be verified on the ground by military observers from the Joint Peacekeeping Forces, who will travel along the planned routes and submit detailed reports.

For several years, the Delegation of the Republic of Moldova has been resolutely advocating for the withdrawal from the perimeter of responsibility of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces of all unauthorized posts and any other objects blocking freedom of movement in the Security Zone.
