Issuing of neutral license plates for vehicles from the Transnistrian region resumes today

The Vehicle Registration Point in Tiraspol resumed its activity today. It was suspended on 20 March this year, during the state of emergency declared in the Republic of Moldova. Services will be provided by employees of the Public Services Agency, and the Vehicle Registration Point in Rybnita will be gradually reopened.

The two Vehicle Registration Points from the Transnistrian region started their activity on 1 September, 2018 and have issued so far 3658 neutral plates and vehicles registration certificates (with three letters and three digits). These procedures allow access to international road traffic to vehicles from Transnistria. Thus, the Government of the Republic of Moldova created real conditions and premises to bring the two banks of Nistru closer, providing residents with viable mechanisms for solving current problems.

We would like to remind that under current conditions both the employees and the applicants are to comply with the epidemiological rules and measures at the Registration Points.
