Meeting between Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri and the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Moldova

On 9 February, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri held a working meeting with Tomasz Kobzdej, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Moldova.

During the discussions, the participants reviewed the current situation on the left bank of the Nistru River and in the municipality of Bender, the main challenges and developments, as well as the positive actions undertaken by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, Chișinău’s commitment to promoting a comprehensive settlement of the Transnistrian conflict was reaffirmed, with a view to strengthening the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as to implementing effective reintegration policies.

Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri expressed his appreciation for Poland’s constant support and firm commitment to backing the reintegration process of the Republic of Moldova.
