Meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri and the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Spain in the Republic of Moldova

On February 2, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri held a meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in the Republic of Moldova, headquartered in Bucharest, Francisco Aguilera Aranda.

The discussions focused on regional developments and the Transnistrian settlement process, with an emphasis on the positive actions undertaken by the national authorities to provide multilateral assistance to inhabitants on the left bank of the Nistru River, within the framework of reintegration policies implemented in the economic, healthcare, social assistance, education, and other sectors.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Spain for its firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, within its internationally recognized borders.
