The meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with the Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Moldova, Aune Kotli

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian had a working meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Moldova, based in Bucharest, H.E. Aune Kotli, who was warmly congratulated on her recent accreditation in the Republic of Moldova.

The current regional security landscape, the challenges faced by the Republic of Moldova, and the efforts made in managing them optimally, the sensitivities of the Transnistrian file, as well as Chișinău's priority approaches in the policies for reintegrating the country, were discussed by the officials.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian specified that among the key objectives in the Chișinău-Tiraspol interaction are maintaining bridges of dialogue, avoiding escalations, keeping an atmosphere of predictability and stability, and of course, identifying positive and legal solutions to the real problems of the residents on both banks of the Nistru River.

Sincere thanks were expressed for the continuous support provided by the Estonian authorities, including in supporting the European path of the Republic of Moldova.
