The meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with the Chair of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Pawel Kowal

The Transnistrian settlement process, the activity of the negotiation formats between Chișinău and Tiraspol and the priorities of the country's reintegration policies were discussed during the meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with the Chair of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Pawel Kowal, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Moldova, H. E. Tomasz Kobzdej.
Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian stressed the determination of the authorities in Chișinău to promote a peaceful settlement agenda of the Transnistrian conflict and to maintain a calm situation in the region.
It was also specified the full commitment of the authorities to advance in the process of accession to the European Union, revealing, at the same time, the importance of the assistance provided by external partners in the process of reintegration of the country that helps the Republic of Moldova to achieve its objectives faster.
The officials highlighted the firm commitment to support the efforts to peacefully restore the territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova within its internationally recognized borders, as well as expressed the readiness to develop cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
