Meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with a delegation of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Romanian Senate

The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian had a meeting with a delegation of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Romanian Senate, led by its President, Senator Titus Corlățean.
The current situation in the negotiation process between Chișinău and Tiraspol was reviewed, presenting the priorities of the Chișinău executive in the field of sectoral policies of reintegration of the country.
It was mentioned that the restoration of the territorial unity of the Republic of Moldova remains one of Chișinău's priorities. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the determination of the current Government to continue the process of solving the conflict exclusively peacefully, without jeopardizing the stability of the country and its European path.
„The support of the European Union and Romania has been vital for maintaining stability in the Republic of Moldova, especially in recent years, marked by the pandemic crisis, then the energy and security crisis, which resulted from the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation”, said Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian.
