Meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with a Delegation from the Körber Foundation’s Foreign Policy Network

On May 7, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian held a meeting with a group of researchers and experts from the German Körber Foundation’s Foreign Policy Network, who conducted a fact-finding visit to the Republic of Moldova.

The delegation was accompanied by Her Excellency Margret Uebber, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Moldova, and included representatives from German federal ministries, the German Council on Foreign Relations, as well as diplomats from embassies accredited in Berlin.

The discussions focused on recent developments in the country's reintegration policies and the Government’s priorities regarding the Transnistrian region, as well as the impact of regional dynamics on the security and stability of the Republic of Moldova.

The participants expressed interest in the situation in the eastern districts of the country, analyzed in the context of socio-economic developments and security implications, as well as in Moldova’s path toward European integration.
