Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with the delegation of the Parliament of Lithuania

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian had a meeting with a delegation of the Parliament of Lithuania and national security experts from Lithuania, who came to our country on a documentation visit.

During the dialogue, the officials addressed topics related to the regional security situation in the context of the new realities and challenges generated by the war in Ukraine, including the fight against propaganda and disinformation, the efforts made by the constitutional authorities of the Republic of Moldova to contribute to maintaining stability and security, as well as the developments observed in the Transnistrian conflict settlement process.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian pointed out the objectives of the reintegration policies of the country, underlining the determination of Chisinau to continue the process of peaceful resolution of the conflict, while preserving the perspective of European integration.

At the same time, the need to achieve the goals of demilitarization and democratization of the region was highlighted as factors that will contribute to the advancement of the reintegration process of the country.

Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration expressed his gratitude to the officials for their openness and interest in the process of resolving the Transnistrian conflict.
