Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with the European Union Special Representative in the negotiation process regarding the Transnistrian settlement, Mrs. Dorota Dlouchy-Suliga
On November 21, the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration Oleg Serebrian had a working meeting with the European Union (EU) special representative in the negotiation process regarding the Transnistrian settlement, Mrs. Dorota Dlouchy-Suliga, who conducts a working visit to the Republic of Moldova.
The discussions focused on the current situation in the dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol, Chisinau's approaches to solving current problems, the government's short and medium-term priorities in promoting the reintegration policies.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration reiterated that the actions of the authorities of the Republic of Moldova aim at restoring the single national spaces, bringing the commercial-economic activities in the Transnistrian region to the rigors of the national normative framework, the social protection of the inhabitants of the eastern districts of the country, the respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms.
The need for multidimensional coordination of activities related to the Transnistrian file was reaffirmed in all dialogue formats between Chisinau and Brussels.
