Meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with H.E. Tanja Fajon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia

On June 10, 2025, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Oleg Serebrian, had a meeting with H.E. Tanja Fajon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, who was on a working visit to the Republic of Moldova.

During the discussion, Deputy Prime Minister Serebrian expressed the gratitude of the Chișinău Government for the constant support provided by Slovenia in the processes of European integration and the country’s reintegration. The partnership between our countries in various international and regional organizations was also mentioned.

Oleg Serebrian extensively addressed topics related to national and regional security, the progress of negotiations on the Transnistrian issue, and its prospects. A comprehensive analysis of the situation in the eastern districts of the country was made, including the social and economic challenges faced by the region.

The head of the Slovenian diplomacy reiterated her country's support for Chișinău's efforts to integrate into the European Union and welcomed the determination of the Republic of Moldova to restore its territorial integrity exclusively by peaceful means.
