Meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with Head of EUBAM Slawomir Pichor

On June 9, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian held an official meeting with Mr. Slawomir Pichor, Head of the European Union Border Assistance Mission (EUBAM) to Moldova and Ukraine.

During the discussions, Deputy Prime Minister Serebrian highly appreciated the significant role of EUBAM in monitoring and ensuring security of the Transnistrian section of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border. He emphasized the successes of the Mission in the context of regional challenges caused by Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The commitment of the Chișinău Government to the peaceful restoration of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova and the full restoration of sovereignty in the eastern districts of the country was reaffirmed.

In turn, Slawomir Pichor noted the progress made by the Mission and the bilateral cooperation aimed at strengthening customs control and security on the eastern borders of our country.
