Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with Members of the European Parliament from the Volt Europa Party

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian met with the Members of the European Parliament Reinier van Lanschot and Kai Tegethoff, from the pan-European party Volt Europa, who are conducting a documentation visit to the Republic of Moldova.

During the meeting, current issues related to the Transnistrian file were discussed in the context of the regional security situation, with particular emphasis on the substantial contribution of the European Union in helping the country overcome successive crises.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian thanked the European parliamentarians—who were recently involved in the negotiation and passing of the Reform and Growth Facility for the Republic of Moldova, worth €1.9 billion—for their interest in the Transnistrian settlement and for the multilateral support offered to Chișinău on its European path.
