Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with Paun Rohovei, Ambassador-at-large of Ukraine

Today, September 11, 2023, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, co-chairman of the Moldovan-Ukrainian Joint Intergovernmental Commission in the field of economic collaboration, had a working meeting with Mr. Paun Rohovei, Ambassador-at-large of Ukraine responsible for the Transnistrian file.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the dynamics of the dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol, the activity of the Moldovan-Ukrainian mixed-intergovernmental commission in the field of economic collaboration, as well as the current regional situation. They carried out an exchange of views regarding the prospects for advancement in the Transnistrian settlement process. At the same time, the interlocutors agreed on the joint agenda for the coming months.

The meeting was also attended by H.E. Marko Șevcenko, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova, from the Ukrainian side, and by Mr. Ruslan Bolbocean, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Oleg Tofilat, general director of the CFM, from the Moldovan side.
