Meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme in the Republic of Moldova Daniela Gasparikova

On May 2, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian had a working meeting with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Republic of Moldova, Daniela Gasparikova.

During the dialogue, the main projects implemented and carried out by the UNDP country team were reviewed, with a primary focus on promoting social cohesion, sustainable development, and strengthening trust between both banks of the Nistru River. Potential support measures to enhance the energy resilience of the Republic of Moldova were also discussed.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian appreciated the constant support provided by UNDP for the implementation of projects beneficial to the population on both banks of the Nistru River, emphasizing the importance of continuing these efforts through efficient and coordinated collaboration, focused on supporting the country's reintegration policies.

The officials agreed on the need to strengthen joint efforts to ensure the continuity of existing programs, but also to launch new initiatives that respond to current challenges and contribute to building a climate of trust and long-term cooperation.
