Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Daniela Gasparikova

On 24 January 2024, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian had a working meeting with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Republic of Moldova, Daniela Gasparikova. 

The subject of the discussions was the assistance projects implemented on both banks of the Nistru River aimed at eliminating disparities and promoting the sectoral reintegration of both banks in the following priority areas: education, economics, social development and welfare, ecology, energy, human rights, integration of the gender dimension, etc.

The good cooperation of the UNDP with the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, the mutual openness to its consolidation, the need for continuous coordination of projects and activities within the Transnistrian region, as well as assistance in providing support measures that facilitate the settlement process were mentioned.
