Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration with the Chair of the National Defence Committee of the Riigikogu

On 27 May 2026, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri held a meeting with Grigore-Kalev Stoicescu, Chair of the National Defence Committee of the Riigikogu of the Republic of Estonia.

The discussions focused on the current dynamics of the Transnistrian settlement process, the regional security situation, as well as the efforts of the constitutional authorities of the Republic of Moldova to promote the peaceful and gradual reintegration of the country, while respecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri expressed gratitude for Estonia’s continued support in strengthening the resilience of the Republic of Moldova, in advancing the country’s European path and institutional modernisation, underlining the importance of maintaining close cooperation with European partners, including in the current regional context.
